10,000 HSV Non-resident Property Owners Receive LTD Mailer
By Lorri Street, March 2, 2020
To All…today 6″x11″ colored glossy LTD mailers are dropping into approximately 10,000 HSV non-residents mailboxes. On the mailers, I included the website for Hot Springs Village People hoping it will invite many to visit the site and keep current on all that’s happening in our beloved Village. Joe and Cheryl will likely soon have a larger circulation of readers than the HSV Voice does…and rightly so.

Editor’s note: Expertly handling a myriad of details, Lorri Street put a tremendous volume of work into this endeavor. Much appreciation to Ms. Street for all she has done for the Village! Please comment below to thank Lorri for doing such a fabulous job!
Edited to add: Lorri Street kindly reminded me of the generosity of the many Villagers who came together to raise the $4,000 needed to fund this undertaking. Thank you, everyone, for your dedication to this cause. I apologize for carelessly omitting this crucial detail.

Joe and Cheryl…please also give MUCH thanks to all who donated towards the overall cost ($4,000) for the approximate 10,000 non-resident mailers! We never wavered in our belief that the “Village” would come together to get this particular job done.
My thanks and appreciation to all!

Now this is the team work I envisioned. So much passion involved to straighten this Board out that we forgot how good we can be together. Too many to name. Thankful for all that checked their EGO s at the door. Team LTD is awesome.

This is very impressive!! Wish we were non-resident owners just to have received one!
Thanks to everyone who shared in the cost and especially to Lorri for all her work and as always the Dowdens for their commitment and perserverance. Well done!!!

Lorri, we can never adequately express our appreciation for the countless hours you and others have put in to set things right in HSV! These were supposed to be the “golden years” after our careers ended and we looked forward to the promise of recreation and relaxation… boy did we get blindsided! Thank you again for all you have done… and can’t wait to see all the good things that are to come when LTD are seated and have the majority vote!

Thanks Lorri for your continued commitment to our Village and the homeowners. Nancy is correct. We earned our retirement and have the right to enjoy our golden years in relaxation, wonderful neighbors & a beautiful Village. We did NOT come here to spend our retirement by over-stuffing the pockets of the high-salaried POA executives which we have too many executives.
Joe & Cheryl, many, many thanks to your continued work in keeping homeowners informed.

Thank you Lorri! You are a force like no other in HSV! Honor to have worked with you.
I’m voting LTD & Kirk.
Our goal is to keep Nikki Choyce from gaining a seat on the BOD.
The more votes for LTD & Kirk the more likely will Nikki will become an also-ran and fade away.

I talked with Arkansas Attorney General’s Office today about the $10 fee imposed for windshield decals, heretofore free. They said it should be in our bylaws; do we have any? Also We The People can file a Freedom of Information Act request to view the books, financially, on what the POA is spending potentially close to $500K on, determined by $10*14466*3, e.g fee multiplied by population times 3 per household.
