The Hot Springs Village Property Owners’ Association has faced challenges twice with the 2022 Assessment Coupons and Renewal Packets.
First, there was a delay in the mailing of the HSVPOA renewal packets due to a production problem at the printing and mailing vendor. Normally, Villagers would have received this information by now and many have been inquiring about this delay. The December 29, 2021 Digest emailed to Villagers stated:
“Delayed Delivery of Annual Renewal Packets”
“A production problem at our printing and mailing vendor has caused a long delay in issuing your annual renewal packets for assessment payments and amenities membership. We are working with the vendor to resolve this issue…”
In addition to this delay, the POA just sent another email stating:
“Assessment Coupons Are Incorrect”
“The 2022 assessment coupons you have recently received or will soon receive in the mail are incorrect. Please discard these coupons as they show the wrong amount for your monthly assessment. Our vendor erroneously switched the amounts for improved and unimproved lot assessments.
“Improved lots (lots with homes) are $90.00 per month or $1,080.00 for the year. Unimproved lots are $43.00 per month or $516.00 for the year. We are mailing new, corrected coupons, which you will receive soon…”

We usually receive our new year’s packet in December. We still haven’t received ours! Now, there are 2 excuses for it being late! WHAT?

That’s OK Kathy your house evaporated and you have only a lot. Don’t be fooled by excuse of a POA system glitch monster, it’s the HSV dimension where everything is your imagination so welcome to the “Twilight Zone”

Wondering after receiving my packets how much money was wasted for a HUGE mistake. POA should hold responsible those that did not check packets. Termination for such individuals. Who do we hold accountable?? When is the POA going to account for mistakes and irregularities??

Who was responsible for the digital files that went to the printer? Who was responsible for approval to print at the printer? Was the printer given approved lasers or copy to go by? Who is paying for the reprint and mailing? Is this JUST the starting of how our increased assessment money is going to be spent? At this point, DON’T blame everything on the PRINTER– PROVE IT !!!!

Ok this is proof that there should be mandatory drug testing at the POA. But they did spend on an elaborate glossy colored bulletin about all the great amenity increases we shall have. Good grief can’t make these embarrassments up! I have got to do a comic strip!!!
