Kayaks, Canoes, and SUPs
Who: Hot Springs Village Parks and Recreation Department in conjunction with HSV Paddlers’ Club
When: Friday, March 18, 2022, 11 AM to 1 PM
Where: Lake Coronado Boat Ramp Area
Why: Buy, sell or trade used kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddleboards, or accessories. Come on out and browse! You may meet some new people, make a friend or two, or come home with some new-to-you awesome water sports equipment.
Details
Sellers should fill out the registration form located in the PDF below and bring it with you to the Swap Meet. A $3.00 seller’s fee will be collected at the event and correct change is appreciated. For the best chance of a sale, you should plan to stay with your equipment until it is sold.
It is recommended to bring a lawn chair.
Note to Sellers: Buyers may wish to try equipment on the water. You may ask to hold a driver’s license as tryout security.
Note to Buyers: Please have access to cash to pay for your purchases and suitable transportation to bring them home. If you wish to try out a kayak, canoe, or SUP, you may be required to allow the seller to hold your driver’s license while testing the equipment.
Those trying out equipment will be required to wear a Personal Flotation Device (PFD) and sign a waiver of liability.
POA Parks and Recreation Department will have an onsite food grill. In addition to food, beverages will also be available for purchase.
Yak Yarns
Every paddler has at least one story about a paddling adventure. This event is not only for swapping equipment but also for swapping paddling tales.

We went to this event today and had a great (but chilly) time. There was lots of parking room and ample area to display the various goodies for sale and trade plus lots of ‘Yakers” to swap tales with. Kudos to The HSV Paddlers Club and the POA Parks & Rec Dept.
