AARP and federal health experts are having a live event on Tuesday, March 10, at 1 p.m. ET. They will be discussing ways to protect yourself from Coronavirus and what this virus may mean for older adults.

According to AARP, “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued new guidance for older adults and people who have chronic medical conditions, such as heart disease, diabetes and lung disease. This population is at increased risk for serious illness from COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus.”

3/10/20- ZERO confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Arkansas

According to the Arkansas Department of Health, as of today’s date (March 10, 2020), there are ZERO confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Arkansas. This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t prepare or let our guard down.
