I don’t know what this guy’s deal is, but we pay our security people to do exactly what they did. As for the police officers allowing Denger to pass through, we do NOT pay them to be a part of a “good ol’ boys” club, nor should we have to divert them from their duties every time Denger wants to play silly games. I have to provide a card or photo ID, and so should Denger. That is why we have the gates, and it is a huge reason why we bought a house here 9 years ago.

And this Gentleman??? is running for the POA Board of Directors? Can’t imagine what he is trying to prove by harassing our Gate Staff and violating HSV Policy.

I am impressed to see that our guards at the gates are performing their jobs, and referred the matter to law enforcement. This resident was not kept from his property, as the police verified he was a resident and permitted him access. This resident might consider purchasing a $10 vehicle sticker or obtaining a complimentary HSVPOA identification card. This will expedite his entry and also the flow of traffic as a courtesy to others who are coming through our gates.

I agree with the assessment of Charles Brown in that Peter Kirk Denger violated POA rules and was abusive to security officers. I also agree with Brown’s recommendation that Denger should lose POA privilege’s for a period of time. In fact, it there was a rule in place to prohibit a person having lost their privileges from running for an elected position in the POA, I would support that also. Rules exist for a reason and living here each person agreed to abide by the rules. If Mr. Denger has an objection to those rules, specifically the entrance rule, he should consult an attorney to explore options to challenge the rule. As unsettling as his two events were I am glad they occurred before the POA Board of Directors election.

Security? Last spring I was sitting on my back porch having coffee early morning, all of a sudden this woman with backpack comes to back my house, she was surprised to find me there. I asked being shocked some stranger is on my property what she was doing. She said she was lost, offered to call police to help her she refused, got my son who was home to help run her off. My son went out in car little bit later and saw her on foot leaving west entrance. After that she was seen multiple times on highway 7 and loitering in parking lot across entrance, even seen panhandling down town Hot Springs, There are many homeless that walk in here not stopped, even had a guy comes in here to collect golf balls on courses at night(2018) and he didn’t live in here, guards let him in as he was known to do that and was ok.??? Oh Airbnbs on residential streets that is prohibited in declaration governing document with weekend people you never saw before or again, but they come in no charge, yeah that’s secure??? Mr Denger goes in and out that entrance at least twice daily to bring his kids to and from school, but obviously a new guard not recognizing him caused this because past board (2020) decided to charge residents for a 5 cent decal $10 that prior were given for free. Only people charged to get in is property owners and contractors the rest given free colored construction paper magic marker dated passes. Nickle and dime property owners atop increases in assessment not enough to let property owners have 2 free 5 cent car decals. Nah this episode reeks of undermining candidate by over reacting to a nuisance event. I hope Kirk would place himself above pettiness in here as it’s waste of time. Speaking of which I’ve wasted enough of my time on here as grifter will grift, haters will hate. Enjoy what’s left.
