Get ready to put on your red dress (or your red vest)! On Saturday, February 12, Altrusa of Hot Springs Village and vocal group Voices Rising invite you to “Let Me Call You Sweetheart.” The Coronado Center Ballroom will be decked out for a romantic dinner catered by Tanner’s, followed by an hour of love songs, jazz standards, and surprises by HSV’s select vocal ensemble. A cash bar cocktail hour will precede the dinner.

Kay Crews and Nancy Carlton, members of Voices Rising, from a recent Masquerade in Broadway 80’s Style show

Altrusa is committed to hosting a safe event, so dinner seating can be a flexible 6 or 8 per table. The meal features roast pork tenderloin topped with a portobello ragout, green beans almondine, wild rice, homemade honey rolls, and Tanner’s signature chocolate and strawberry shooters for dessert. Voices Rising will enter the Ballroom presenting 1977’s hit “Love is in the Air,” followed by favorites such as “If Ever I Would Leave You,” “I Could Write a Book,” “Unchained Melody” — and several more you are sure to recognize and enjoy.

This incredibly special evening begins at 5:00 p.m. $55 tickets, which include the dinner and the show, are available at www.hsvticketsales.com or from Altrusa and Voices Rising members. Both organizations thank ReMax of Hot Springs Village for their generous sponsorship.
