Building a Lions Park at Balboa Beach Fundraiser
Organized by Cristina Davis
A few words from Cristina
In celebration of 50 years of service to Hot Springs Village, the HSV Evening Lions Club has created a community project to provide recreation and playground equipment to the HSV Balboa Beach area. The HSV Evening Lions Club will procure and donate equipment to the HSV POA Recreation Department, thus creating a multigenerational park area for all Villagers and visitors that will positively affect the health and wellness of our villagers and provide an additional area for community interaction and fellowship.
A POA designated area, a 200-foot swath of shoreline located between the Balboa Beach swimming area and the northernmost fishing pier will be the location of the new park area and has been approved by the POA Board and Architectural Control Committee. The following equipment is slated for installation: a sand volleyball court, 2 Baggo courts, a merry-go-round, swing set, geodome climbing apparatus, a picnic canopy, an integrated playset with slide, and playground benches.
You can make a difference by donating today to Hot Springs Village Evening Lions Club Foundation by supporting this worthwhile project. Please consider making a donation today. Click here to go to the fundraiser.
