The Computer Club of Hot Springs Village offers Villagers a wide variety of services, covering a broad range of technological devices and issues.
Computer Club of Hot Springs Village monthly meeting
Mark your calendar for this month’s regular meeting of the Computer Club of HSV. This meeting is to be held on Thursday, August 22, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. at Coronado Community Center, Room 6. You need not be a member of the club to attend as the public is also encouraged to participate.
From 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 is “social time” and “help time”. During this time slot, Computer Club Members will be available to answer questions. Also, if you have a computer-related item you would like to sell or give away, bring it to the meeting. If this item is not sold or given away, it cannot be left.
The Computer Club is very excited to announce that “Broadband in the Village” will be the focal point of the discussion on August 22nd.
At 6:30, there is a brief discussion of business. Then after this portion of the meeting, Greg Jones, a member of Hot Springs Village Property Owners’ Association (HSVPOA) Governmental Affairs Committee will be on hand to discuss “Broadband in the Village”. Also giving a presentation on the same subject will be Dennis Simpson, Vice President of the Computer Club.
Computer Club of Hot Springs Village monthly breakfast meeting

I love it Cheryl! It says it all and our Club really does try to help people with their technology needs. Some of our members are very technology savvy and we can help with most problems or point someone in the right direction. I’m a special fan of our Android and i-Phone phone and tablet help sessions as they help many use something better that they use every day – 2nd Tuesday, 1-3 pm, Village Church of Christ.
I especially hope Villagers will try to attend our “Broadband in the Village” presentation on Thursday, August 22, 6 pm at the Coronado Center, Room 6. This is an area that is so critical to the Village and all of us as residents. The 2 presenters, Greg Jones and Dennis Simpson, know where “all the cables are buried” and I’m really looking forward to hearing from them. I don’t mean to say that this is the best presentation we’ve ever had, but it just might be.
