Greetings Friends and Neighbors,

We have just elected three accomplished and capable new Board of Director Members and we have the utmost confidence in their ability to enact positive change for the Village. This will not be easy. This will take time. But it can be done and these three are ideal for the job.

It is imperative that we offer our full support to HSV Board Directors. They have a difficult and to some degree a thankless job ahead of them. We know this and are sure they realize the difficulty of the task and the many challenges they will be facing.

It has been noticed that some people are making negative comments, not fully trusting things to turn out as we hope. We understand the lack of trust, but our situation is going to take time to change. The Village changes that have been made that we do not like, did not happen overnight and they will not be erased overnight.

For those of us not trusting the newly elected Directors, please understand, while there are only three of them and they are in the minority, they are also very smart, talented and determined people. We know they will stay the course and not sway in their determination.

Clean slate is needed

We feel it would be beneficial for them to be in Board leadership roles. We need a new direction and a clean slate. This would best be accomplished by these roles being filled with our newly elected Directors. We know these positions require more work, but we also know these three are fully up to this responsibility. What more skilled, hardworking and dedicated individuals to be in Board leadership roles than our newly elected Board Members?
