With the election of a new Board and the rescinsion of the Comprehensive Master Plan and reverting from the restrictive and tyrannical 119-page Protective Covenants to a more manageable 3-page Protective Covenants, Hot Springs Village has entered an era of Hopeful New Beginnings.
It will not be easy or fast, but we truly believe we can turn this ship around and foresee a much more hopeful and prosperous future for our Village. We have a great Board of Directors, POA staff, and community members.
Having said that, Hot Springs Village People feels it is time to have new beginnings so we are moving to a forum-type website, as opposed to a blog-only-type website. The name of the new website is Hotspringsvillage.community.
There will be a small learning curve, but we hope everyone will be patient and give the new venue a chance. This will take a while to build up, but we are very hopeful.
You will need to register in order to comment on the blog and the discussions. The blog articles may be read without registering. This may all feel a little unsettling at first because the new website is different than this one, but together we can work through any of the problems. So go ahead and let us know if you have any difficulties and we will gladly assist if you have any trouble navigating the new site. You all mean so much to us and we are very excited about this new journey in our Village lives.

The new site is really nice and, I am sure, once people get used to the slightly different interface it will prove to be very popular. If only because it will be so much easier to find the things that interest you, and ignore the things that don’t. The search facility is MUCH better than on Facebook too.
If you haven’t already taken a look at the blog, I strongly urge you to do so.

Then go check out the forums too – note that Hot Springs Village Property Owners, National Issues, and Regional Issues are private and require registration but all the rest are open to all

I credit Cheryl and Joe with keeping us villagers up to date on all the latest, greatest, and not so great information that we need to know about our village and the people working for (and against) us in our village. Without their dedication to us, I shudder to think where we would be. Thank you, Cheryl and Joe, for all the hard work you have done for us and continue to do for us.
