In a time of crisis, Hot Springs Villagers have always been known to step up and lend a helping hand. Things are no different in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic.

HSV Restaunteers have had to make big changes. Some restaurants are offering take-out service only, while others have temporarily shuttered their doors.

Restaurants, in general, are suffering from a severe decrease in business because of COVID-19. This affects not only the owners but their employees, as well. Several HSV restaurants are offering promotions in order to help their employees through this time of crisis.

Xplore Lakeside hosting drive-thru fish fry on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, for benefit of employees

Join Xplore Lakeside on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, starting at noon in the parking lot of Xplore Lakeside for a drive-thru fish fry to benefit the employees of Xplore Lakeside and the Beehive.

They will be serving their fresh catfish, fries, hush puppies and coleslaw for donations. All proceeds will be distributed to their employees to help them through this current crisis until they can reopen the restaurants.

Melinda’s Cafe and Coffee offers box lunch special Wednesday, April 1, 2020, to assist employees

Join Melinda’s Cafe and Coffee, at noon until 2:00 p.m on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. To benefit their employees, they are offering a boxed lunch special for curbside pickup.

This lunch consists of 1/2 chicken salad sandwich, served with a cup of homemade tomato basil bisque and a side of pasta salad for the low price of $6.00. This price covers the cost of their food and they are not making a profit. They ask that you please tip the staff generously, as the purpose of the promotion is to assist their awesome employees during this time of crisis.

The Saint at Isabella requests that you join them for a special offer on Thursday, April 2, 2020 from noon until 2:00 p.m. They are offering this meal for what it costs them- only $5.00. You will receive a delicious Saints signature cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion. This will be served with a side of their delicious hand-cut french fries.
